Sherman Barnes
Sherman’s musical experience started at a young age with piano lessons. He went on to play drums in his High school concert and marching bands. Sherman attended Auburn University, earning degrees in piano, percussion and instrumental music while playing with the Auburn University Symphony Orchestra. Sherman has worked as a music instructor at the high school and college levels. He was the bass player with Roberta & The Reflections and The Just Friends band before joining Natchez Trace in 1985. He currently plays piano for the group.
